Design details. The solid two-panel base (rather than fine legs) gives a stable seat and a strong visual anchor in the room. The grained leather, topstitched along every edge, shows an artisanal finish and stands up to daily use. Gilded metal inserts at the armrest-to-base junction add a structural detail that breaks the monolithic volume and signs the design.
