Knitty

The Knitty armchair is formed from a single quilted cord, coiled and braided onto itself to create the seat, backrest and armrests. Its textured knit cover, waffled to the touch, dresses a generous structure approximately 90 cm wide. A sculptural piece for interiors that embrace out-of-the-ordinary furniture.

The continuous braided-cord construction produces an organic silhouette without a single right angle, and the braiding pattern varies slightly from one piece to the next, making each chair subtly unique. The ribbed, micro-perforated knit fabric is dense enough to catch the light and conceal everyday wear. Thick padding gives a deep seat that envelops the body in a way no rigid-frame chair can, and the absence of visible legs anchors the piece low to the floor on its braided base. Available in sky blue, with a mustard yellow version also offered.

Ideal for: contemporary lounges, reading corners, reception halls and showroom spaces seeking a signature piece. Worth noting: the floor footprint is substantial, close to that of a giant pouf, and the knit fabric benefits from regular dusting to keep its relief.
