Cage Galactique

The Cage Galactique is a sculptural seat with a gold metal structure formed from fine vertical bars set in an arch, like a giant birdcage. Its seat and low back are covered in genuine black-and-white cowhide. A choice for interiors that embrace a one-of-a-kind furniture piece.

The brushed gold-finish metal structure is made of fine welded bars forming a curved arch, with no coarse visible joins. The seat and back in genuine black-and-white cowhide give each piece a unique pattern of markings, so no two are identical. A matching solid gold metal base has four straight legs continuing the line of the structure, with stability ensured by the width of the seat. A supplied accent cushion in a geometric brown, black and beige patchwork fabric adds comfort at the base of the back, and the open cage volume stays airy at the top, letting light pass through unlike a solid-back chair.

Ideal for: a reading corner in a niche or alcove, a boutique or hotel-lobby seating area, or a focal point within a contemporary interior. Worth noting: cowhide benefits from regular dusting and is not suited to settings with pets that scratch furniture.
