Details
This armchair is built on a chromed tubular steel frame, here dressed in wide straps of spotted brown-and-white cowhide. Seat, backrest and armrests are formed from tensioned, stitched leather bands, for a sculptural chair suited to a design lounge or executive office.
Exposed chromed steel tube frame with fine, gleaming lines across the whole chassis and legs. Genuine cowhide straps in a natural brown-and-white spotted pattern — each chair carries a unique placement of markings. Reinforced white top-stitching along the edge of every strap holds the leather tension over time. White plastic foot caps protect the floor and provide stability on hard surfaces, while the seat and back suspended on independent straps preserve the airy effect of the original Wassily design.
Ideal for: a contemporary lounge, a reading corner or an executive office seeking a piece of character. Good to know: the cowhide should be dusted regularly and is not recommended outdoors or in very humid environments.
