Shells are reinforced acrylic of 3 to 3.2 mm, on a reinforced frame or fibreglass. Taps and jets exist in chromed brass, matt black brass or chrome, handles in stainless steel, aprons in acrylic or tempered glass. Empty weights on file run from 95 to 140 kg, and that is the figure your structural engineer asks for first.
Part of the range carries a pump with five, six or eight jets, which changes the electrical supply and the maintenance access to plan for.
