HORTENSIA

The Hortensia armchair is entirely covered in hundreds of turquoise blue fabric petals, each sewn on individually to create a dense, three-dimensional relief across the whole structure. Its curved form with a low seat and solid armrests suits lounges and hospitality spaces looking for a strong sculptural piece, best presented on its own.

The layered petal upholstery leaves no smooth surface: the relief runs across the seat, backrest and armrests without interruption. A gradient of blues, from turquoise to sky, creates an effect of depth that shifts with the ambient light. The one-piece structure sits on a full plinth rather than visible legs, giving a stable seat with an integrated base, while the wide, low armrests merge with the backrest into a single rounded, enveloping volume. The seat is gently dished for a marked central hold.

Ideal for: exhibition halls, showrooms, design lounges, hotel lobbies and reading corners in need of a visual centrepiece. Worth noting: the multi-petal upholstery requires regular dusting and cannot be machine washed.
