Details
The DÉTENTE armchair combines a glossy red lacquered tubular metal frame with a generous seat dressed in off-white boucle fabric. A square cushion with red piping completes the backrest, while red-and-white striped woven straps support the seat. A piece with confident chromatic contrast, made for design-led lounges.
Design details. The glossy red tubular frame is finished with rounded ball ends, visible at the tips of the armrests and legs. The seat and backrest are wrapped in thick off-white boucle for a soft, enveloping sit. An independent square cushion with red piping and zip closure echoes the frame colour, and the red-and-white striped webbing visible beneath the seat holds the boucle upholstery to the metal structure. Enveloping armrests drape over the sides of the frame, creating an organic, asymmetric silhouette.
Ideal for contemporary lounges, reading corners and breakout spaces in creative offices. The boucle fabric benefits from regular soft-brush vacuuming, and the low, enveloping seat has a floor footprint worth planning for.
