BAMBOO

The BAMBOO is a lounge chair with a cocoon seat, made for lovers of graphic design and enveloping comfort. Its stretched-canvas shell displays a black bamboo-leaf motif on an ecru ground, carried by a black steel rod base with four splayed star-like feet.

Design details. The enveloping shell with a high, curved backrest supports the back and shoulders in a deep or semi-reclined sitting position. The printed bamboo-leaf canvas, black on ecru, offers a contrasting graphic design, with the weave structure visible in the fabric. The black steel rod base, with four splayed arms, provides floor stability without a solid plinth, for an airy silhouette seen from below. The seat has no distinct armrests, its edges rising continuously for freedom of posture, and the light, compact structure is easy to move from room to room or onto a covered terrace.

Ideal for reading corners, occasional lounge seating, covered terraces and conservatories. The printed canvas calls for dry cleaning or regular dusting, and should be kept out of unprotected outdoor settings.

Specifications. Dimensions: 80 x 75 x 90 cm. Weight: 9 kg. Materials: printed cotton/polyester bamboo-motif canvas, black lacquered steel rod frame. Care: dust regularly, dry cleaning recommended for the canvas, dry cloth for the metal base.
