The Arc-en-Ciel is a swivelling low-slung chair whose fan-shaped backrest is built from nine quilted velvet ribs in royal blue, turquoise, fuchsia, orange and powder pink. Set on a round polished chrome base, it is made for buyers seeking a graphic accent piece for lounges, reading corners and reception areas.

Design details. Each of the nine padded ribs is sewn separately, creating pronounced relief that reads from the front and in profile. The five-tone matte velvet catches the light differently at every angle, without any shine. The round polished chrome base swivels a full 360° and its reflective surface visually lightens the seat. The low, enveloping seat sees its side ribs rise to provide lumbar support without applied armrests, and the visible seams between ribs reinforce the quilting over time.
